Tips for Organizing Games
We LOVE using games in therapy but sometimes they are difficult to store! We want to share our top 3 organizing tips for storing your games in your therapy room!
#1 Shelves: We love storing our bigger games on shelves from Ikea in our offices. Having them displayed as shown in the picture on the left allows you to easily see what games you have and quickly grab and go when prepping a session.
#2 Mesh Bags: Whether it is mesh bags from Dollarama (as seen here) or Amazon, they are a great system for storing your games. Get rid of the big boxes and put your game pieces in a bag that can be easily placed in your therapy bag or kept in your theme bin!
#3 Bin Storage: We have tried many different storage methods and both of us love storing materials by theme! I (Kiersten) love using the clear bin storage from Michaels. There are different sized bins that come with a removable tray which is great for storing TPT products or mini objects. I love using the biggest bins for my bigger themes. They store puzzles, books and games in a simple compact way! Anna loves using the clear bins from Walmart for the exact same reasons! Makes planning so easy when all your themed materials are found in one place!
