Easter Theme Lesson Plan for Speech Therapy

Here is a quick and simple lesson plan you can use in speech therapy this Easter season!

Activity #1: Begin with an Easter themed book! The book "Happy Easter Mouse" is one of our favourites to use this time of year as it naturally targets themed vocabulary, spatial concepts, inferencing, wh-questions, and describing and more! I love pairing any book with play-props - whether it be toys, mini objects or paper props! Use youtube as your story or grab the book HERE.

Activity #2: We love to incorporate movement into our sessions! Anna has created an awesome resource that does just that! This low-prep, fun and engaging resource allows you to work on a variety of skills while your students can get up and move! This fun speech therapy activity allows you to target articulation, phonology, apraxia, vocabulary, and language goals - over and over again!  Grab the resource HERE.

Activity #3: Needing a low-prep easter theme unit that allows you to target articulation, verbs, rhyming, syllable segmentation, phoneme segmentation, core words, spatial concepts, object function, wh-questions, describing and more? Look no further! Grab the resource HERE.
