5 Time Saving Tips for Busy SLPs

Huge caseloads. Not a lot of time.

We have been there - working long hours, spending weekends laminating, and feeling frustrated with the lack of prep time.

That's one of the reasons we started using simple activities to target a HUGE range of goals. (Play based therapy doesn't just have benefits for students - but also YOU!).

Here are five quick time saving tips:

1) Use toys, games, and activities to target a variety of goals

2) Utilize Quick to Use session notes, therapy planning notes, and SOAP notes

3) Look at anything as therapy tool. You don't have to have a specific worksheet for each goal - you can use a stapler or a pen to target most goals! 

4) Stop prepping specific resources for each session.

5) Reuse therapy activities. It's okay to use a lesson plan twice - or even more!
